These terms govern your use of Famerlo. We have written them in plain language because we believe you should understand the agreement you are entering. If anything is unclear, please get in touch.
Pilot phase
During the pilot, features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or updates. We appreciate your patience and feedback as we build Famerlo together with our early users.
What Famerlo is
Famerlo is an AI-powered family logistics assistant. It helps busy parents manage their children's activities, schedules, and daily logistics through natural conversation. You can read more at famerlo.com.
Your account
- You need an account to use Famerlo. You sign in with your email address using a magic link — no password required.
- Each person should have their own account. Please do not share your sign-in link with others.
- Famerlo is designed for parents and guardians. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Acceptable use
Famerlo is a family tool. We ask that you use it responsibly:
- Use Famerlo for its intended purpose — managing your family's activities and schedules.
- Do not attempt to misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the service.
- Do not use Famerlo for anything unlawful.
- Do not attempt to access other families' data.
Your data
Your family data belongs to you. Famerlo stores and processes your data solely to provide the service. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
You can download all your data or delete your account at any time from Preferences in the app. For full details on how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Calendar integration
Famerlo can connect to external calendar services (such as Google Calendar) to sync your family events. This is entirely optional.
When you connect an external calendar, you are also subject to that provider's terms of service and privacy policy. Famerlo syncs events on your behalf but is not responsible for how third-party calendar providers handle your data once it reaches their systems.

The AI assistant
Famerlo's AI assistant helps you manage your family logistics through conversation. While it is designed to be helpful and accurate, it is not perfect:
- The AI may occasionally misunderstand your instructions or make errors.
- Always verify important details — such as event times, dates, and locations — especially for time-sensitive commitments.
- Famerlo is a planning tool, not a safety-critical system. Do not rely on it as your sole source of truth for urgent or critical matters.
Availability
We aim to keep Famerlo available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
During the pilot phase, downtime may occur more frequently as we develop and improve the service.
Limitation of liability
Famerlo is provided "as is." While we work hard to make it reliable and useful, we cannot guarantee that it will be error-free or meet every expectation.
Famerlo is not liable for missed events, scheduling errors, failed calendar syncs, or any consequences arising from reliance on the service. Use Famerlo as a helpful tool, but apply your own judgement for important commitments.
Ending your use of Famerlo
You can leave at any time. Delete your account from Preferences in the app, and all your data will be permanently removed. You can also download your data before deleting your account.
We will not terminate your account capriciously. We will only suspend or close your account if you are in breach of these terms — for example, if you misuse the service or attempt to access other families' data. If this ever happens, we will tell you why and give you a reasonable opportunity to download your data before deletion, unless the breach is severe enough to require immediate action.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time as Famerlo evolves. If we make significant changes, we will notify you through the Famerlo app. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Danish law. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Denmark.
